The competition is open to persons aged 18 and over. Minors may only enter with the consent of their legal guardians; by entering, participants confirm that such consent has been obtained. Participants must create and submit the image, video and accompanying text themselves in accordance with the guidelines set out in the entry process. Only one entry per person and email address is permitted.
Submitted content will be reviewed by Rega prior to publication. The Swiss Air Rescue Service Rega (“Rega”) will select entries from all submissions and decide which entries will be published on the anniversary website or selected for the anniversary campaign and admitted to the associated competition. There is no entitlement to consideration or publication.
By participating, the participant confirms that they are the author of the submitted content. They also guarantee that the submitted content does not infringe any personal rights, copyright or other rights of third parties and that all recognisable persons in the recording have consented to its use and publication. The participant indemnifies Rega against all claims by third parties arising from such an infringement.
The participant grants Rega a royalty-free, non-exclusive right, unrestricted in terms of time, location and subject matter, to use the submitted images, videos and texts for purposes related to the campaign as well as for marketing and communication purposes. This includes, in particular, publication on Rega’s websites, on social media (e.g. Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn), in print and online publications, and in Rega’s newsletter.
Consent to publication may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Publications that have already taken place, in particular in print media or newsletters that have already been sent out, remain unaffected.
The participants selected by Rega for the anniversary campaign will be presented as part of a public vote. Voting is carried out by the public. The winner will be drawn at random from among the participants in the ‘ ’ vote and will win the advertised prize. The prize cannot be exchanged or paid out in cash. The winner will be notified in writing.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding participation. The decision is final.
It is prohibited to submit content that contravenes applicable law, infringes the rights of third parties, or is offensive, discriminatory, racist, glorifies violence, is pornographic or otherwise objectionable, as well as content containing extremist or misleading statements. Rega reserves the right to reject or remove such content without giving reasons, and to exclude participants from taking part.
Rega will handle the data collected in connection with the campaign with care and in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. In all other respects, the privacy policy at 75.rega.ch/en/data-protection applies.
All legal relationships between the parties are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
